O2 Sensor placement in header

I picked up a set of camaro headers from a friend that he barely used for 20 bucks. They are non-emission type headers, so I just welded a fitting to the left side header and made sure the ox. sensor went in to the same depth as stock headers. The sensor does sit farther away from the head now though.. Is there a chance I might have to run a heated ox sensor now? I don't care if it runs like crap during warmup, its not exactly a daily driver anyway. Thanks!

You'll be OK. I s'pose if you're hardcore, you could wrap those header pipes to keep in the heat. Otherwise, it MAY take just a little longer to heat up, but as long as it's sticking into the header collector, it'll work.
