I have found the best header paint
I got tired of everything I tried on my headers baking off, and could not afford to get them coated, so I called Eastwood, and they sent me a small can of header paint, that you put on by hand, it has been on for about 3 weeks and looks like it did when new. It was 14.95 for a can though

I agree 100%! Mine has been on for almost six months and still looks great. Fifteen dollars is cheap and well worth it.

I was told the best way to keep header paint from burning off is first to paint them with regular high temp paint. After that, wipe them down with trans fluid. I've never tried it myself but another people I've told said it worked great.
