What are the type that are emissions legal, like A.I.R. adaptions and stuff, and 02 sensor hole, or should i not worry about those even though i need to pass inspection. I really don't want to spend a lot of money on headers(300 is too much) but want the power w/o having to put the stock ones in come inspection.

You are still going to want to have an oxygen sensor. It measures the air/fuel mixture and controls the electronic jets on the carb to produce a good mixture. It is an emission thing, but it helps your car run better. Hope this helps.

If you have to pass visual inspection I believe you need all the smog equipment which would include A.I.R. tubes. The o2 sensor bung is always a good idea wether you run a CC carb or not.

Right, i don't think i was very clear. My question was that are the Hooker Headers emissions legal? Like do they have all that stuff or adaptions for it? Sorry about the confusion

I'm not sure for your year, but on the TPI Hooker shorties headers with the y-pipe, they are 50-state legal.
