Flowmaster mufflers make 30HP and 40ft.lbs of Torque????

Transmission: 700R4 Auto
Axle/Gears: BW 9-Bolt 3.27
Flowmaster mufflers make 30HP and 40ft.lbs of Torque????
In JEGS it says that the Flowmaster 80 Series makes 30 more HP and 40 more Torque!!!!

Yeah, and stickers add like 40 RWHP too!!!
They probably got those specs by running a monster 600 hp motor out the stock muffler, then switching to the 80 series and noting the 30 hp (5%) improvement. For those of us with 200-300 hp, we're looking at maybe 10-15 horsies.

Hey,I had a funny reply (well I thought it was funny) 
about all the outrageous and exagggerated horsepower claims,(including Flowmaster)Aftermarket companies make on parts for our cars on this post a few days ago(been at the C4 corvette forum) when it was in the Aftermarket Products Review section and seems to have gotten erased when it was moved. 
Whats up with that moderators?was it an accident or did you not like my ragging on certain aftermaket comps.that your in cahoots with and getting kickbacks or something from?H,mm.I think Ill make another list again when I have the time except this time the gloves are off.
