Hooker Super Comp Shortie Headers

I want to buy these headers (Part Number 520-2055 in Jeg's). They are listed as "86-90 Camaro 305-350" for $350 with the crossover y-pipe. They also accomdate for the O2 sensor and air injection. My question is, is the end of the y-pipe 3"? I want to buy a 3" Dynomax high-flow cat. Will it all bolt up ok? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Yep, it's a full 3" slip-fit connection at the cat. Everything will bolt right up, although I needed to have the mouth of my cat enlarged a little by an exhaust shop to be able to fit it onto the Y-pipe. For '86 and 87 F-bods, you'll also need to cut off a leg from the A/C bracket and grind it down some to fit around the #1 primary tube. Nothing a hacksaw and a Dremel tool couldn't handle...

Does anybody know how the Dynomax 3" in/out cat fits? Is it a slip on? Thanks.
