Headers bolt into stock crossover??

I want to buy a set of headers for my 82 Firebird. I want to know If I get the right ones for the car (probably the Hedman) will they just bolt right into the stock crossover?

I assume you mean y pipe? No, anytime you buy headers you need a new y pipe.

Hedman sells a y-pipe for their headers.

Edelbrock, Hooker, SLP, Dynomax (I think) all have sets that include both headers & y-pipe.

Nobody makes headers that fit the stock y-pipe.
