Do you guys have good spark plug clearance?
1bad91Z, you are the only one so far with straight plug heads. Did you have a problem with the number 7 cylinder? Are those plugs you have shorty plugs?

NGK plugs are standard length plugs. On the stock L98 heads with LT's, there were NO issues what so ever. With the vortec heads, #7 is very close and the #7 primary will have to be dimpled or I will have to go with shorty plugs to keep the plug wire boot from getting warm. (Either way, it's no big deal)!
Hedman longtubes on stock LO5 heads with straight plugs. Running Accel header plugs with plenty of room for a normal plug.
very good spark plug clearance with these headers and a very easy install actually.

MAn looks like it sucks to have my combo then. THe number 7 plug there is not even enough room there to put the boot on. I would have to dimple it alot to get it to fit. that sux.
