Hey, I'm putting together a 3" exhaust system on my camaro soon. I've got everything planned out except for the tips. The muffler I'm getting has a 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets. My origional turn-downs are still in good condition to re-use. Should I use them, 3" or 3.5" round tips, or rectangular tips? If the tips aren't going to give me a sound difference then I'll stick to my origionals, but if the tips to give a better/deeper sound, then should I go with the rectangular ones or the round ones? Basically just tell me what will give me the best sound. Thanks, 89IRO

 

i got 3 foot long 3" chrome tips put on mine, ..like the look, like the sound, ... i think the tips make it resonate alil more, then gain it could be wishful thinking

 

Best sound/rumble: Stock turn-downs, or rectangular tips, or 3" circular tips??? -89IRO

 

all will prolly have /ABOUT the samesound, ...its pretty much about the looks as far as tail pipes go
