exhaust removal
I will be removing the stock exhaust from a 88 IROC from the y-pipe back tomorrow. My question is:
Will it be hard to do from all of the years oof rust and heat? And is there any tricks that someone can recommend to me to make my project easier?
thanks alot

run the car before you attempt to undo any bolts, ofcourse this will be a burn hazard but you prabably won't have your hands near it when your using a mini breaker bar to get them off,if it is a flange just find a big hammer to bang the F#*K out of it with.my favorite method of exaust removal is the SAWZALL, check out home depot for the "torch" cutting blades,if this is a backyard venture, then you will need something to cut the int. pipe above the axle to aid removal,be carful under there,if you do this, and wear SAFTEY glasses,I know I probably don't need to tell you that, but ,I would feel realy bad if someone lost an eye as a result of my post!
