cat question

cat question

hey, if i were to gut out my cat converter would it make any boost in power or increase in sound. my exhaust is the stock dual right now. thanks

The sound will be a little louder, and you may pick up a couple HP. It would be better to put a pipe in place of the cat, unless you have visual smog.

yeah in nj we need a cat.....so it would just look like there was just one there...

Well since you need to have one I would go Hi-Flo but make sure you get the best deal. Try Catco or Carsound cats. I think gutted cats sound hollow.
