Out of my league with this clunk

When I hit the gas for a short period (as I did when recording the sound of my car in the drive way) and then release, I get a clunk. I have a sound recording of this that I'll post on my web page if someone wants to hear it to figure out why it's doing this.. I didn't post it yet, I will if I get a request to do so.. if anyone knows why this clunk occurs, and if it's something that needs to be fixed or what, please tell me.

hmmm clunks can be interesting.

First things I would check are the motormounts, and then your torque converter bolts.
