just ordered a set of the mac headers for my 88 iroc tpi they look good any one have any suggestions on quality and or how the install went, my tools are ready to go. thanx! :rockon:

I waited 3 months for my MAC headers, calling them just about every day after the first 2 months. Never came in, I was PISSED. Their rep told me they shipped when they didnt, they aucutally flad out lied to me. They evidently care zilch about the 3rd gen community.

 

I've got the Macs waiting to go on my car. They seem like a pretty good system. 16 ga. tubing, 3/8" flanges, AIR tube comes from the collector rather than the primaries making them look real clean, headers and y pipe are high temp coated (not ceramic like jet hot but better than the shipping paint most headers come with), all plugs appear to be easily accessible from the top while the engine is on the stand.

I got mine from Mac's east coast warehouse in Florida in about 3 days, after waiting 2 months for FT Force to give me 3 bogus tracking numbers .

I'll make a new post when I get them installed and try to get some sound clips and pics too.

 

sounds like these headers are hard to find. I was looking on ft force and saw them...im interested but if its hard to get them ill just get SLPs maybe,
