Dynomax cat-back installation ?

Do I have to cut the stock intermediate pipe on a dual cat car to remove the exhaust and install the Dynomax cat-back? Just wanted to know so I could charge the sawzall if needed. Thanks guys.

I think that if you unbolt the panhard bar and let the rear axle hang as far as it can, you can get the i-pipe out without having to cut it. But for me, it was just easier to cut the pipe since i didnt plan on using it ever again. A circular saw with a metal cutting blade--let the sparks begin!

Thanks for the advice so I know what to expect. I'd say that pipe is going to be sliced and diced because I only have ramps right now so getting the rear axle to drop will be impossible.

All I had was ramps too--didn't have a sawzall so I had to break the pipe by bending it back and forth--took a while but w/o a lift that's the best way to go(cut it off).

The Helm manual says that the I-pipe is clamped, not welded, to the muffler. I'm gonna try and separate it, but it will probably be next to impossible so I guess I'll just cut it. Thanks for the help guys.
