3" is too big. your stock exhaust is 2 1/4" in diameter. 2 1/2" is best, but I'm still running 2 1/4"

I have the american thunder in my v6 in 2 1/4 and I wouldnt recommmend a 3 inch. The 2 1/4 works great, I noticed a good deal of bottom end oomph after I got it. I think read somewhere that you will have overheating problems with the 3 incher, its just too much.

hmm i disagree. Ive been running a 3" y-pipe, and 3" i-pipe for some time now and have had no problems. I have better gas mileage, my car pulls harder, and also gained 6 hp on the dyno, 11 tq.
