Pulling engine with SLP headers ON

Can it be done? As soon as the weather warms up this spring I plan on installing a Comp XE 274 and AFR 195 I've had sitting around for over a month. Pulling the engine with the headers on would save a lot of time. It looks possible, but has anyone attempted it?

i pulled an engine that still had the stock manifolds on.. so headers are a tad wider, but should work..

You can lower a engine in with shorties so It should be easy to pull an engine with them on. Just go slow and be careful...

With my Hooker shorties, I had to remove the passenger side header to drop the motor in. Maybe the SLP's aren't as wide. The Hookers have the bull**** 3 bolt flat flanges (they love to leak) where as the SLP's have the factory style 2 bolt flanges which may give some more clearance.
