Transmission: 6-speed
Possible for my IROC to sound like a Corvette?
I like the sound of the Corvette's engine (talking about the ones that came with the L98) and want to get my 305 tpi to sound like that. How do I do it? Is it even possible?

You'd have to have the 2 mufflers at the back like they do. Unfortunatly there are no semi-quiet mufflers that fit the dimentions to tuck up back there like a vette.
Other than that,, vettes are technically single exhaust too. I am in pursuit of that sound myself and have a (affordable semi-prototyped/tested) plan.

Well i had plenty of experiences with corvettes and they dont really sound that good. Dont get me wrong but its the truth. However i suggest getting edelbrock TES headers 3 inch cutouts catco catalytic from summit(60.00) and a 3 inch american thunder flowmaster catback. I think youll sound 10 times better than a corvette, hell youll sound like one of the funny cars. good luck

I think the late 80s early 90s vettes had 4 exhaust outlets coming from two mufflers. What I want to do is use my Eddlebrock RPM dual outlet muffler with two Hooker dual resonator ***** cut tips. I think having four three inch outlets along with the resonating effect will make it sound cool. Somewhat like a vette. But probably more like a European Sports Car. I figure with a huge volume of air pouring out it should really rip.
