!!!!!some cat questions!!!!!!!
1)Anyone ever used Hedman Hedder 2000 series cat converter? Does it flow well compared to a cat like Random Techs?
2)Are Tpis's cats Random Techs?
3)Am I going to have a problem having my new cat put on? I have a Borla exhaust right now ,and if you dont know thier cat backs end about 6 inches from the cat, its a 3 inch system and where it ends there is a 2 1/2" pipe about 8" long welded to it and the other end is atached to the cat. I am getting a 3" cat and need to make that 2 1/2" pipe a 3" pipe. Will an exhaust shop be able to cut the weld where the 3" and 2 1/2" pipe are joined and put in a 8" section of 3" diameter pipe to weld to my catback without ruining it? And what about the other end of the 8" section of pipe where it connects to the cat, I want to get a direct fit cat which means there will be a 2 bolt flange on the cat, can they put a flange on the other end of the 8" section of pipe. Any Idea how much this is going to cost me???????
ALso are there sound differences with different converters? Because I want one that will give me the loudest exhaust.
