Leaky situation
Leaky situation
Do stock exhaust manifolds have gaskets? I seem to have developed an exhaust leak at the manifold connection to the heads. I think the cat plugged up, but want to know if there are gaskets that need replacing

Actually from the factory some motors/brands did not use manifold gaskets.
But yes, it is a very good idea to use them. Get a good quality gasket. Since manifolds arn't as leak prone as headers copper or aluminum might be overkill. Felpro is good. More info @
