I am looking to improve the exhaust note on my ’91 Formula w/ 5.7L, dual CATs, headers. I would like the high performance sound and am not rear worried about the overall noise level. I thought about straight pipes, but don’t want to end up with the “pop…pop” or “cackle” that I have heard with straight pipes. What muffler would you recommend for that high performance sound? I was looking at the Flowmaster 80 Series. Any good? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Every1 has Flowmasters because they sound good. They might not flow the best, but IMO they sound it.

I had a pair 42553's on my chevelle for a while and got REALLY tired of them. Love my SuperTurbos though. And on a newer GM (i.e. LS1 Camaro) Borla all the way! Besides, why would ya wanna sound like everybody else? Or sound like all those f'ing junkstangs?
