Engine: 79 4 bolt 350

hooker sound?

if i get hooker super comps and a custom y pipe will this change the sound of my exhaust or will it just add hp? i want a good deep sounding exhaust that you can hear even when you accelerate. will i have to get a cat back system too?

The headers will be an improvement in sound and performance, a cat-back will just compliment it even more.
