I've spent countless hours reading about header installs on this board and I've never heard of anyone having clearance problems with their stock starter. Think of it this way: I don't know about the 2460's, but the 2055's and the Edelbrocks follow the same basic routing as stock. I'd think they would fit.

The only ones I know of, is what Traxion posted the other day when he used Hooker long tubes, but my Edel shorties fit fine.

I had no problem with the starter while installing the headers, and I had no problem with replacing the starter after the headers were installed. If anything, they made it easier! Stuck a small crowbar between the header and the starter to support the starter while I made the final adjustments and bolted it in. Sumbich is HEAVY!
