I got some SLP headers on the way and I was wondering you guys think would be to route the spark plug wires over or under? and maybe what brand you recommend?

Z28,
Try the center bolt wire looms from Made for You. You can get them from Summit or Jegs. They are a bit pricey, but look really cool. I have an older set of SLP headers and the wires don't touch the tubes.
As for wires, I've always liked Taylor. A universal set (you put together) will cost about $50. It's nice to make your own wires, it always fits better!
Don't forget to use 90 degree plug boots.

I ran mine over the valve covers for 2 reasons: easier to keep them from getting burned, and it looks cool.
I used the Made For You looms and Taylor 8mm cut-to-fit wires with 90-degree boots. You can see pix at:
http://www.erols.com/gcwestph/Headers.html
The wires still look and feel brand new after 2 1/2 years of daily driving. I have well over an inch of clearance between the wires and header tubes. I recently installed some of those MSD wire connectors that hold 2 wires together. They come in a package of 16 and hold each pair of wires together neatly.
