header installation

how difficult is it to install headers on a 87 gta.i don't want to put any on if it is a bitch,are there any good y pipes that attach to the stock manifolds

After doing an car cam swap, that involved pulling the heads off, doing headers is a piece of cake. If you have a long weekend, a set of jack stands, some patience, basic hand tools, a buddy to help, and some beer, you can do it without much hassle. There are a few bolts that are a PITA to get to and you might have to disconnect the steering column to get the driver's side header in. Other than that, you can do it without too much trouble.

Yeah, just like Dan said, it's not that hard at all. Just take your time and you can complete it in a weekend or so. It might look like a hassle but once you start you will realize that it's pretty easy. Hell, on my Z, the passenger side was the EASY side to do. Go figure. Have fun.
