Complete exhaust including headers back what is the best setup??
I'm about to get my car back and I was going to put headers on it plus a catback system, but I don't have a cat. Anyways what do you think would be the best setup. I was thinking SLP's with thier y pipe and flowmaster american thunder. If I get the SLP's is jetcoating it worth it or not.
Thanks for all the suggestions,
Bryan

I would go with slp headers. as far as coating that is up to you. I have uncoated slp's. they do not look pretty. personally I don't care though. even coated heards start to look crappy after a wile. it is hard to clean the headers wile they are on you car. I think the flowmaster system sounds sweet but it is not stainless like the headers sooo there again up to you. I have finally found a great dual exit stainless system made by random tech. we are trying to get a group purchase going. But if you don't care about stainless I like the flowmaster exhaust.
If money is no object, go ahead and get the SLP Headers. But, for $300 or so, you will be very happy with Edelbrock TES Headers, I know I am, and so are many others. I didn't get them coated. I just let the shipping paint burn off, rubbed off the soot and now I have a nice looking set of black headers on my car, without any rust and its been over a year since I installed them. For cat-backs, I am very happy with my Hooker Aerochamber system. But again, if money is no object, I would probably get the Random Technology one. There is a group purchase on it now, so you can probably save some serious money. I am saving over $200 getting the Accel TPI Intake base with the GP instead of just through Jegs or whatever!
