I'd say about 10-15 hp .

I like my Hooker cat-back $200 and needed some fab work done, $260 for the direct bolt on.

sound clip in sig.

just search for sound clips and find the one you like best.

I'm running a Flowmaster system. It's like 2 months old and I'm trying to get rid of it. It sounded great, and definitely improved power. I'd say probably 10 HP rear wheel compared to an OE stock. The thing is that my new built 355 w/ headers created a Glasspack style sound around 2000 w/ the Flowmaster system. If you want bang for your buck and a quality system, I'd agree w/ Mark, get the Hooker system. Thats what I'm gonna switch to. - or if anyone's interested, I'd take $150 for my Flowmaster set-up. It's 3" inlet, dual 2 1/2 outlet, with all the tubes, unwelded. Bolts right in. you pay shipping and its yours...

MdFormula350 - I wish I had known that a few months ago. - then again, I liked the sound of the Flowmaster on my L98. Just not overly happy w/ it behind my 355 w/ a big cam and headers...

Dynomax.

$~160 through www.jegs.com

It's a 2.5" system, so it's OK up to ~300HP. Anymore than that and I'd get a 3"

Check sig for sound clip

I've got a stock LG4. First, I added an Edelbrock cat back. I'm not sure it made any difference because of the small "Y" pipe and cat in front of it. I then replaced the "Y" pipe and cat with a 3" "Y" pipe from an IROC. I don't know about the cat back system, but the "Y" pipe gave me all of about 9 horses. Although I've had a mechanic tell me that on a hipo engine replacing the "Y" pipe with a larger 3" may be good for up to fifty horses, if you are counting on a big performance gain from a cat back system, you may be in for a disappointment.
