I love Christmas

My dad is going away for christmas, going down to FL to see my grandparents, so I visited him today went out to dinner and such since with college I never get to see him much anymore, we did the whole christmas thing.

the Quick Time Performance Q-Tec Electronic Cutout, its the one for the borla kit.

 

thats awesome!!!!!....you hit the switch and u can open and close it...

I want to get one...

 

That kicks ***. When I get headers and a cat, I think I'll get one of those.

What is a "Quick Time Performance Q-Tec Electronic Cutout"?
What exactly does this pretty little thing do? I assume it bolts in at the base of the headers.

its for a cutout...it opens up the exhaust so u have the open headers sound...then u can close it so it goes thru your mufflers...

cost wise...for us...a single cutout...$135..which isnt that bad...

i think im going to order one...thats awesome...u can control it from inside the car...

actually, my car grumbles like an iroc, fools ppl for a v8, and thats at idle, it's loud... that's all i have to say... :lala:

 

really? thats cool, I didnt mean to sound like a d***, just any 6 with the exhaust chopped off that I have ever heard sounded like ***. Maybe they were just P.O.S's

Hell, even my originaly firebird I had with a carb'd 305 sounded like sh** with no mufflers.

 

6s don't sound the same as 8s... My friend has a 95 Camaro V6. He got a cutout and with it off it was loud and all, but I didn't like the sound. Another buddy of mine has a 95 Z28 LT1 with a cutout... sounds totally bad ***.

 

In my opinion V-6s with Straights sound like somone throwing up in a trash can

 

I have a cut out on my Iroc, people stop and ask me all the time how much $$ I have into the exhaust and what I'm using.
