Price confusion on hooker catback

How come the 83-85 hooker catback system is 199 and the 86-91 is 259.99? Is my 85 going to be an inferior exhaust? Is something missing? Help my confusion! see for yourself

thanks

Is the 83-85 cat smaller therefore resulting in different models? If i get a 3 inch high flow cat can I use the 86-91 without a problem? (I hate responding to my own posts!!)

No, I believe the 83-85 cat uses a 4-bolt flange while the 86+ is a slip fit. That is the difference. I dont know why there is a price difference, tho.

on my LB9, i just got the 86+hooker catback, i ave never seen the cat on a 85-, so i donot the difrence, the 86+however is a 2bolt connection to the cat not a slip fit,

So if i were to buy a new 3 inch high flow cat (needs to pass emissions). Which one would I choose? Thanks for the replies!
