HELLLLLP!!

I am removing my smog pump on a 92 r.s. w/a 305 t.b.i. I have the belt off but cann't find out what the tube that hooks up to the smog pump is. What is it and how do I remove it? thank you twells

On my 87 IROC L98, the tube on the back of the smog pump attaches to the bottom of the diverter valve assembly. The diverter valve is that black box thing with all the emissions tubes comming out of it, it sits directly above the smog pump.
