I am thinking of making my own headers. I was wondering if there was a place to wher eyou could send them to have them ceramic coated?

How much would it cost?

Jet-Hot in PA, they quoted me $280 for long tubes in sterling inside/out, but I think it's around $180 for shorties.

yep I can confirm that price on the shorties jet-hot quoted me 179.00 for shortie headers

 

Would the cermanic coat last long on a turbo exhaust manifold?

I'm holding the jet-hot warranty in my hand and it reads:

"LIFE TIME RUST THROUGH PROTECTION
jet-hot backs its coatings with a lifetime guarentee against rust-through on new components when all exposed surfacesof the part have been coated with jet-hot. If the metal beneath the coating rust through we will repair and recoat the part at no charge.

THREE YEAR GUARANTEE OF SATISFACTION
If you are dissatisfied with jethot within three years from the original date of purchase, we will recoat the part at no charge ONE TIME with the same coating originally specified."


this sounds like a pretty good warranty to me!! :lala:

 

That is so awesome, i never thought to make your own headers, I guess you would know if they fit or not from the beggining.
