Search this board, this has been talked about quite a bit.
Its my opinion that Edelbrock headers are made with low quality steel, have horrible welds, and their small-tube design is horrible at higher RPMs. However, they're fine for a stock heads and cam TBI or LG4 car, and many people have shown good gains with them. But I wouldnt put them on any of my cars, I use SLP's.

I have a set of TES headers on both of my thirdgens now, and I am very happy w/ them. Good deal at $300. The metal is fine, the welds are fine. Supposedly their dual 1.5 and 1 5/8 inch design out powers the SLP 1 5/8s (from a magazine article that I have yet to see). Either way I don't think you'll notice jack **** between the two. BTW, the set on my 87Z have been on for over a year now, just did the 86 IROC's last week...

I bought a set of Edelbrock headers and boy were they horrible. They leeked air not long after they were installed and also got really rusty. Biggest POS headers around in my opinion. Hey you asked
