headers or catback?

need to choose between the two... which would i see better numbers out of? set of SLP headers or the power flo catback? my operating budget just got halved, so i have to pick between the two. would the headers get me a better sound by themselves, or would i need the catback for the better sound?

i'm assuming i'll pick up power both ways, but they compliment each other together... wish i had $$$ :P

Catback before headers, get headers when funds permit.

Exactly, always do the cat-back system first. If you put headers infront of a stock exhaust, the headers will out flow the rest of it and cause some serious turbulance and can acctually rob you of power, especilly at the low RPMs. My friend did that on his 88 IROC 305, and when he put a cat-back on, it took a whopping .5 off his 1/4 ETs!
