Which headers? drivers side dipstick

Which headers for thirdgens will clear a drivers side dipstick?

I'm swapping a mid-70's 350 into an 86 T/A. The stock drivers side manifold dumps right where the dipstick tube goes into the block. So I am considering headers as a possible workaround. But since most headers are designed to drop into a stock thirdgen, which headers will clear the drivers side dipstick?

I have hooker comp shorty headers with a 1977 350 with drivers side dipstick. No problems at all. Had to weld up my own Y-pipe though.

Ive used SLP 1 3/4 headers, Hooker shorty headers, and Edelbrock headers. All with the driver side dipstick 400 block, should be the same for the 350. No problems the dipstick dropped right in.

I have hooker long tubes and a drivers side dipstick. I think pretty much any headers would work. And while I would recomend getting headers, there is a company that makes a flexible dipstick that would probably work.

its lokar and i couldnt get the dipstick to work. i have a 79 350 in my 85 t/a and it wouldnt flex enough to get around the manifold. and i paid 50 bucks for it! look for some cheap headers, thats what im doing.

Edelbrock headers are made to clear the stock dipstick. My dad needed a flexable dipstick for his super comp headers on the 90.
