open exhaust

does anyone have any experience with one of those instant open exhausts? I was thinking if there was a way to make them automatic so that you could flip a switch and have it turn to open. Has this been done before, or is it even possible?

I don't know what after market company makes these or if ANYBODY is still making these, but in 1970 the pontiac GTO Judge could be ordered with a rare option that included a pair of mufflers w/ vacuum operated cutouts, you would pull a **** under the dash board then your engine vacuum would open the cut outs.
If any body knows if these mufflers are still being made and by who, could you let me know?

Electronically......just hook it to a power source and ground....and your ready to go.....here is the website.....http://www.mccordcg.com/mpp/pictures.htm .....what's so cool about it is that you just don't have to have it all the way open.....you can set it anywhere between to "tune" it....I can't wait to hook it up!
