I just finished installing my SLP 1 3/4" headers. The actual headers install was easy, I just forgot how the brackets on the front went back together and that held me up. Until Monday, I have to run straight out of the y-pipe so it's REALLY loud when I get on the gas. It sure made a heck of a difference. There's more power through out the rpm band and the engine can breath higher up. Glad I finally got the funds together to do this

which was harder...taking manifolds off or putting headers on?

 

Putting the headers on was harder, because I had to take my AC compressor off to slide in the driver side header. Once I did that, I just had to bend my brake line a little bit and wiggle the header until it slipped in. Passenger side header went in like it came from the factory that way. I had already removed all of the AIR system, so all I had to do to remove the old manifolds was unbolt them and lift out.
