I am looking to put on a system that is not too loud, particulary at cruse speed 60mph. I do alot of highway driving and my 73novass has dual turbo mufflers on it, when I am at cruse it has a droaning noise (the best way that i can think to explain it).

I am looking into the 17227 for my firebird and I want to make sure that this is not a characteristic of the ultra flow.

I am looking for a nice low tone at idle and cruse and a decient bark when I am on it. I am not looking for something that is loud under "normal " driving conditions.

I probably would have gone with the superturbos if they cam in 3" but they don't and I don't want both exhaust pipes out the same side like the one super turbo model.

Ultra Turbo welded users please give me you feedback.

 

I do realize it depends what is done to the car, headers, no cat etc.
However, I would like to hear from any one who has the ultra flows.

 

ive never heard the ultra flows on an f-body but theres a 90`s 5.0 stang around here that has them and it sounds really good, i used to have a dynomax super turbo , and one of my buddys currently is running one and it sounds descent at idle and pretty good WOT but i never really thought it even compared to my flowmaster setup, the Ultra flows are pretty nice mufflers tho, so who knows i think it would sound pretty descent.
