high flow cats

high flow cats

do high flow cats make the car sound a lot louder like compareing to the sounds of a car that has no cats at all

I couldn't tell any differance with the high flow cat,So i ended taking it back off(again)and put a straight pipe there(now there's a differance)

Well i would suggest not to gut the cat or just add a pipe. My friend has this hooked up 355 headers pipe in place of converter and a 3 inch flowmaster catback and its sounds like a hollow annoying noise. I did the same before he did with my camaro and i didnt like the noise as well. I ordered a universal Catco converter from summit for $49.00 plush shipping and it came with air tube and now it has a great rumble. Try the 3 inch catco converter, its worth it.

Well they do sell the converter in all sizes. I think they have 2",2"1/4,2"1/2 and 3inch. Just call Summit and they should help u out.
