A couple of header questions

Hey guys, I am getting ready to do a true dual set up entering out the sides right before the rear wells. I am trying to decide what kind of headers to go with. Maybe you guys can help me out.

How much of a bitch is installing long tubes? Has any company managed to make a set yet that helps ground clearance?

Also, if I decide not to go the LT route, what headers will give the best gain? My car is an 87 Formula 350.

What are you guys running? Also, what are the average gains seen from a header install, say shorties vs LT's.

Sorry for all the questions. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

You probably won't see any benefit from long tubes over shorties or a near stock 350.

What are your plans for the motor? If you plan on going over 400hp, I'd get the Hooker Long Tubes 1 3/4, or the Hedman 1 5/8 LTs if you don't plan on that much power.
