Any Problems??
i just ordered soem Headman LT's from summit racing, the part number is HED-68460
i was wondering what will i have to do to put these in, i dont want to mess with the engine place ment meaning no takeing it up an inch or waht ever, will i have to move, bend or persaude anything out of the way for these to work??
and how long do you all think that it should take me to get these on??

What kind of intake do you have? I know on my 87 TPI we had to cut part of the AC braket... and king of getto rig brackets on the passenger side that fit on the last exhaust manifold bolt.
This is going to take you a few hours. It was alot easier after we decided to take out ALL the A/C (that didn't work anyway). I just know the TPI setup for installation. Not sure if the A.I.R. Tubes would be any different for you... or if you even have them.
We didn't have to jack the motor up at all to get them in, but I've heard it's easier if you jack one side of the motor up (which ever side you are putting on at the time).
I've got hedmans.
Make sure you use coppergaskets and good bolts :O)

i have no A/C, emissions, or really any of those other things, i think i should be able to get it in easy though, and i have a carbed engine. i should be able to do it rather easily. oh well i will find out when they get here, i got them on 2 day shipping. so i hope to get them monday, at the latest.

oh, no dipstick yet, im trying to find a place that carries the lokar flexable dipstick and then just use a bolt and some metal to hold it to the side of the wheel well
