Flowmaster 80 Series!!!!!!

I just ordered my Flowmaster 80 series for my 88 Camaro RS 305 TBI. I can't wait to get it installed. I ordered it from Jegs for 72 dollars and I ordered some chrome tips. They should be delievered either Tuesday or Wednesday. I want to hear that loud Flowmaster sound!!! Anyone else have the 80 series? Tell me what you think of it!!!!!! Keep ROARIN!!!!!

I like it. It wasn't too loud at first but you will hear it will get louder over time.

Well you should have the same stock exaust as me. The big tips will help but you still have a 2.25" pipe going into the muffler. I got a 3" pipe to replace it but haven't put it on yet.

I have the American Thunder System with the chrome dual outlets. It is very loud, expecially under acceleration. I used to have just a muffler and it was pretty loud also. I don't think it is as loud as some of the older 5.0L Stangs on the road, but it sounds very good.

Well I got my Flowmaster and tips today. As soon as I got them I called up the Muffler
Man and he said that tomorrow at 10:30 he will install them. The only problem is that I don't drive my car in the rain usually and it is suppost to rain. I guess I will have to let my car get a little wet in order to get my flowmaster installed!!!! Actually I think this is only the second or third time I let my car in the rain since I got her back in June of 99. I guess a little rain won't hurt her though, she's a Camaro, she's Tough!!!!!!!!1

I just got back from getting it installed. I noticed a definate sound difference, a nice rumble and especially when accelerating. I also noticed a significant power gain. I am 100 percent completely satisfied I just hope it gets louder with time!!!!

I got to drive it quite a bit this past weekend and I love it. I has a great sound and the power is definately noticable, Do I have a cat? If I do, can I replace it with a High flow cat? Will that make it louder, I want to stay legal, any suggestions? Thanks

I seriously doubt it gets louder with a high flow cat, dont waste your money, just wait until the one on your car fails or just gut it now if your not satisfied with the sound, or put on a set of headers and some 4 inch tips, like i did on my pickup and its loud as hell
