Flowmaster American Thunder....92 RS?, hooker headers, cat?

Hey I'm looking to buy a Flowmaster exaust for my car, its a 92 RS, and I can't find Flowmasters for a 92 RS in Summit and Jegs theres an American Thunder system that sais it fits 86-91 RS' I figure if it fits a 91 then it should fit my 92 without much modification, is there anyone who has done this before that knows what the difference is? if so please help
Im also looking to get some Hooker headers, anyone who has installed these on there car with some tips on how to get them in
Last question is, im also looking for a nice high flow cat, any suggestions?

I have a 92 Camaro RS TBI...I've installed Edelbrock TES headers part number EDL-6875, a Dynomax Catalytic High Flow Converter part number WLK-15735, and an American Thunder Flowmaster 80 series catback part number 17234 with dual 3 inch polish tail pipes that exit OEM locations...Hope this helps. I purchased everything from summit except for the flowmasters. Summit may have the flowmaster...just inquire for the part number.

I have a 92 RS with the Flowmaster American Thunder cat back system and yes it will fit.Just be sure what size the outlet on your cat is.Im pretty sure you have a 2.5 inch outlet.I also have Hooker shortie headers and they are a pain in the butt to put in.You will have to have a muffler shop make a y-pipe.I paid $125 for mine.I hope this helps.

I have a 92 z28 with the 305. The stock exhaust setup was a single 2.5" cat...I figured that the 91 American Thunder system should fit. Well, at least on the convertible, it doesn't fit at all...the techs at Flowmaster even agreed...the over axle pipe rubs the frame and bumps the axle over our bumpy roads. I had a shop bend the pipe out of the way, but there still isn't enough clearance. So, it comes off this weekend...gonna try the Hooker, at least their specs match the year AND the engine code! Love the sound of the Flowmaster, though...hope Hooker won't dissapoint me!
