Got Them Finally On

well i just picked up my camaro from the exhaust shop, i now have 3inch all the way back, to 2 summit racing brand mufflers, all 3inch, i have to replace the exhaust header gasket on the driver side tomarrow and it will sound ALOT better, it looks pretty sweet though, you can see part of the mufflers which i dont care because this isnt a show car,

BUT

i dont know what the words
"GROUND CLEARANCE" means, huh maybe ill find out one day... lol,

later ill get some pictures when my mom stops being a pain, it came up to 193$ and i paid for over 110 for all that, they said they would pay the rest, they knew ballpark around 180. but the guy said that i need to be carful because i COULD rip off the pipe and cause an accident, WHICH could be true he said if i lowered my car anymore, which im not, and my mom then says that it WILL cause an accident because it was so low. parents are anoyign soemtimes. of well im happy, thats all that matters.

Funny thing about parents. They're annoying as can be when you're dependant upon them, and you miss them something fierce when they're gone.

HA HA, 'Squeek83' I thought my clearence was bad! Well your probably in better shap, cause mine lowest part is the mufflers

Looks great though, and if your carefull you shouldn't have any problems. Just watch the speed bumps, or any major angle from a hill and you should be fine.

Funny thing you brought up lowering, cause I realy need to lower the front of mine, and the only solution I have is doing some work on the floor pans (exhaust exits on the side) to get the mufflers up in there. But that's going to be a different chapter

thanks, well i replaced the blown gasket today and man does it sound SOOO MUCH BETTER, i HIGHLY RECOMENT SUMMIT BRAND RACING MUFFLERS, they are so mean sounding they are not for a sleeper, you stand behind the car and it hurs your chest. i LOVE IT.

wow that's low! i love it! i have to say that one of the few weaknesses of third gens is the fact that they drag on everything (mostly just the air dam), but if you have the guts to drive something that low... and that mean... you've got my respect! take it easy!

hey thanks, ya i love my car, ive already learned what angle to go in and out of drive ways, i precticed on mine today, ive only grinded the pipe 3 times now, once in a huge bump, and the others on my darn drive way. i lov eit though sounds mean as hell. and has already scared a few people, plus i just passed 500 miles on the new engine now i can give it full throttle and see how fast and badass she sounds, but thats all after the dyno saturday, the 18th, in like 2days.
