I need some help. I am looking for a inexspensive header for a 89 GTA 350. I want a shorty smog head. I will eliminate the cat. I need a header that will bolt in with minor mods to the Y pipe. Any suggestions and/or paet numbers would help a grear deal. I have been searching for a long time now.

 

What do you call cheap? If you put headers on your car you will have to change the y-pipe.Here are some options for you.Hedman Hedders part# 500-68481.They cost $330.00. You could also go with Hooker Super Comps.Part# 520-2055.They run $350.00. These hedders come with y-pipes , thats why they are pricey. If you really dont want to spend that much then you can do what I did.I have Hooker Competition headers ( part# 520-2460 ). They only cost $140.00 but you have to have a y-pipe made.That ran me $120.00. All of these part#s came from Jegs. There are alot more options you can do , these were just a few.Good Luck!
