Slp y-pipe fit problems

I called SLP about it.First off I have a aftermarket 6qt Moroso pan. They said I have to extend the length of the Y pipe at each place it conects to the header since the SLP are for stock engines with factory pans.My divers side pipe connects at a angle, and this is jammed all the way up into the pan,and the passenger side is about an inch off from even contacting. What they told me sounds feasable, but how do I go about it,where do I find some stainless steel pipe?

Don't feel bad I have a ZZ4 stock as a rock and my SLP y-pipe does not fit at all! I am having a custom shop cut and reweld my pipe. Damn SLP! The small block Chevy engine has not changed in umpteen million years and they can't even get a simple pipe dimension right! 600 bucks for something that does not fit and the intall kit was a joke! The install kit dit not even have the right bolts and the A/C bracket was'nt even close to fitting!

Mike, how much did it cost you to have the custom Y-pipe made?

Got my car back today! The custom shop cut the (driver side header to y-pipe) pipe in the middle, had one end swedged to slip over the other, set up the pipe and had it heli-arc welded so it would not rust. A little had to be trimmed off of the (y-pipe end) of the crossover pipe so the pipe would clear the front cross member but other than those two mods the fit is great. Total cost $150.
