Emissions removal how-to??

I just bought a '90 RS, with a 305 TBI auto. It's low mileage and factory stock, with the exception of a fabricated intake elbow with a big cone type k&N, and low restriction mufflers. My plans are to remove all the smog equipment (since I don't require it here), and install some headers and crossover pipe afterwards.

I read on the main site, how to remove the smog pump and fit a longer belt, but I would also like to remove the complete emissions system, to unclutter the engine bay and shed some weight. I would like to know if there's anything I need to keep, what pipes to plug, what sensors to relocate or disable.
I want to do this as soon as possible, many thanks for your help

You will need to retain the O2 sensor currently in the driver's side exhaust manifold.
