true duals w/ stock tpi

i'd like to run true duals w/ my mostly stock '87 350 tpi. i now have headers, high flow dual in/ single out cat, and 3 inch after cat. i had true duals on a previous carbed thirdgen, and prefer that setup. is this possible simply by reprogramming the computer? i know i should've posted in proms, but i did and now i'm unable to find it. help is appreciated...

Probably not worth it duals tend to shift the power band upwards and a stock tpi is not a good hi rpm performer

You will not need a computer reprogram, because dual 2.5 will not flow much more than what is on there now. If you want true duals, go for it! If you want to run them the traditional way, you will have to channel the rear floor boards to get sufficient clearance for the mufflers. I have Dual 3in and love it! If you have any questions, e-mail me.

my main concern was the O2 sensor (or whatever sensor it is that plugs into the echaust). certainly i didn't want to start the great exhaust debate, but having had true duals on a carbed 3rd gen, i want them again! the exhaust shop that did mine ran the pipes side-by-side in the single pipe locale, dumping into glasspacks with chrome turn-down tips. the setup looked awesome, sounded beautiful, and brought ther little 305 to life. pictures, unfortunately, i don't have. okay, okay, i'm shutting up 'cause i could go on forever about the ol' 85 iroc.... nothing can replace your first love, not even my '87. :-(
bowtie- did you have to channel yours or did the 90's come w/ factory duals? got any cats on yours? i'll stick w/ the side by sides, but i'd love to see some pics of your exhaust if you can post them...thanks
