i was thinking about the heddman headers and y-pipe for my 84TA with a 305ho. I already have a dynomax cat back and removed the cat b/c i dont have emissions. is heddman ok? the system would only be 200bucks and i can afford that.

The only bad thing about the heddmans is that the Y-pipe is only 2.5. Since yours is an 84 HO car, I think that it will be the same as what you have on there right now.

my first love was an '85 carbed iroc. i had three different sets of heddmans. the first set was the long style, but i was having constant exhaust leaks. the second set was the shorties. the third set only because i failed to have the second set coated. now i'm running coated heddman shorties on my '87. i'm staisfied completely w/ heddman, but i would recommend the shorties to you. others may disagree. whatever style, manufacturer you choose, make sure to get them coated!!!
