need help 1-5/8 or 1-3/4???

I looking at getting some new SLP headers, and can't decide which size to get. I am currently running a 305 w/ 1-5/8" SLPs. Will I lose much TQ w/ the 1-3/4" or will it not be that noticeable? I am only curious as I plan to upgrade to a 350 or larger this year or the next. The reason I'm upgrading is to get non-AIR headers for track only use...

Thanks,

MILT

Buy with an eye on your final goal. The low RPM torque loss will be minimal when installed on the 305.

With a TBI car, I'd keep the 1 5/8".

Nope, she's not TBI anymore--speed density HSR now!

I agree with five7kid on this one.
