how do u get the original exhaust out without cutting all of it?

how do u get the original exhaust out without cutting all of it?
my parts car has a PERFECT intact exhaust.....im steeling it and putting it on my driver.....how do i get the peice that connects from the cat to the muffler out without cutting it all up and mangling it?
