I actually took off the factory duals with the new motor. Opted for a complete brand new exhaust system, headers and all. Edelbrock TES, 3 inch high flow carsound cat, 3 inch mandrel bent dynomax exahust all the way back to an American Thunder dual outlet 3 in and 3 out muffler. with dynomax pipes and custom tips... Great exhaust.. I'll have it on a lift tommarrow. See if I can get a pic or two....

OUR CARS DID NOT COME WITH DUAL EXHAUST, IT CAME WITH A SINGLE PIPE AFTER THAT DAM Y-PIPE THEN TO ONE MUFFLER THEN JUST 2 TIPS, NOT DUALS!!

Formula is right, they did make a factory dual, 2 1/2" it was on some of the old Camaro 305 L69 HO's, I dont know about the Birds. I priced it to put on mine but the 3" was so much cheaper i went that way.
