I'm installing a set of dynomax headers on a 91 rs. The driver's side header won't slide into place because of the steering column. The instructions do say to take it loose, but I can't figure out how. There are two bolts which I loosened, but it still didn't come loose. Can anybody help me out?

I've also had to remove the catalytic converter temporarily. What is a good replacement converter? Opinions vary on converters, but I may put a new one on for legality's sake.

I took the steering column out there are some bolts you take off or loosen(can't remember too well) and the column will come out. For the converter I got a Catco 3 in universal converter from summit for $99, so far so good.

catco is a good converter, and random tech makes a nice high flow too, but unless you've got a straight up race car you probably won't need it. the random techs are about $200.
